Default 2 Loudbox Mini's for (((STEREO)))

I have a new Loudbox mini charge. I love it. I pretty much push everything (VOX, effects, guitar, VL3, etc) through a mixer before the amp. I was thinking of buying 2nd Mini so i could run in stereo! Is that a bad idea?

I have one older Mini. I'm not really familiar with the Charge. For fun I sent a 1/4" out from my mixer to the Aux Input in the back of my Mini. Seemed to work okay. The Master volume controls power. EQ from the mixer. Works like a powered speaker. If you have stereo 1/4" outs on your mixer to run two separate signals, one for each Mini, it should work fine.

I don't think you can run the line level signal from you mixer into the mike or guitar inputs on the front of the Mini, but the Aux input on the back seems to handle it cleanly.

I am currently running out of my mixer XLR to the MIC input on the Mini, and it sounds good, although it's mono. Here's my signal chain:

1.) Sennheisere 865 Mic > TC Helicon Voicetone T1 Pedal > Tc Helicon Voicelive 3 > OUT of VL3 into a Yamaha MG06X 6-Channel Mixer (ch 1 & 2)

2.) Taylor 312ce > TC Helicon VL3 > Out of VL3 into mixer (ch. 5 & 6) with the VL3 looper backing tracks, in stereo.

Now, at this point, if i plug headphones into the mixer, all is STEREO.

I now have the XLR OUT of the left channel going FROM the mixer to the MIC input on the Loudbfx Mini. It sounds great, but it's all MONO.

I'm thinking that if I connect a 2nd Mini, and come out of the XLR right channel to that one, I'll now be in stereo. I'm going to go for it!

If it sounds good go for it. Maybe the newer Mini is different. If I send an XLR out from my Yamaha MG10XU (Line Level signal) to the XLR in on my Mini's front panel (Mic Level) I get distortion at very low gain settings. If I go into the Aux in XLR on the back I get a clear sound and can use the master volume to increase sound levels.

If you’re going from a mixer to the two mini’s can’t you run the right channel out to one and the left to the other?

That's the plan. Seems simple enough, but was wondering if there were any caveats. I mean, it will be just like haven 2 PA speakers, correct?

You are correct, it is the same concept as a PA system. On the mixer you need to have your L/R balance at neutral so that the same signal is sent to both amps.
