Default One kind favor I ask of autocorrect

Could you please when I type "THanks" when I'm trying to type "Thanks" (which is every time I try to type "Thanks") just unobtrusively and unostentatiously autocorrect it instead of letting it be so I have to go back and correct it manually every time?

Because there actually aren't any circumstances under which "THanks" is acceptable English.

Sounds like Tom Hanks's consciousness has infected your autocorrect.

You do it every time you type the word Thanks? Maybe you need the advanced autoklutzcorrect feature.

I've typed "tge" instead of "the" so many times my phone recognizes it as a word.

If that was the case, FM would be using an old typewriter and no autocorrect at all.

That would be Tom Hanks himself. His consciousness as an entity of its own.

If auto-correct is doing something odd, go into the setting and look for your "library" (they may call it vocabulary or something different). I often find a lot of odd spellings saved in there because I miss-typed something one time and the phone remembered it. Delete those and the problem should go away.

I used to be under the impression that manually repairing an errant auto-corrected word a few times would eventually "train" an iPhone to properly reflect what I'm saying, but no joy thus far.

I'm up to 50-60 fixes on this one, and I will never understand what makes my phone constantly arrive at the following dictated utterance.

"Will we play Guitar's this Tuesday?"

In what twisted context would that ever be correct? Perhaps I'm being nit-picky, but I don't need any extra help looking ignorant/illiterate. I wish there were some way I could permanently erase that annoying possessive proper noun from my iPhone.

How about it making every plural possessive?

Every version of Star/Open/LibreOffice I used has always had an option to correct 2 subsequent capital letters at the start of a word. Web browsers typically give you much less control over spellchecking and autocorrect, so I usually turn them off, esp. if there is no setting to recognise the language I'm typing in.

Let's face it. Guitars and phones own us. I definitely don't need help sounding worse than I in reality do.

If you were performing at a club named "Guitar's"?

Assuming that that's actually a valid grammatical construction and not a colloquialism?

This context should be valid:
"X, Y and Johnny Guitar Watson all had wonderful instruments. We'll play Guitar's this Tuesday."

I heard that the guy who invented autocorrect recently died. May he Roast in Piss.
