Are you sure about being able to get these in a short scale? I certainly could be wrong but was under the impression there were no modern short scale 15 series guitars.

If I am wrong, please elaborate!

You might want to try the Sigma OOOM 15S. They also make a OO. 12 frets to the body, soft V neck profile. I’ve had one for a couple of years and I love it. Sure it’s got laminate back and sides but you can’t hear it. Sounds as good as the Martin it’s copied after (I’ve A-B’ed them and my Sigma sounded as good, if not better as the Martin). The Sigma is very well built and a steal for just around 500 bucks.

You are correct if you buy a standard 15 series from Martin. But LA guitar sales does indeed stock 12 fret 24.9" scale 0-15s now. The 00 is currently out of stock but still listed on their website. And for the selling price of $1,800 to $2,000 depending on with or without bindings or satin or gloss finish, that's a really good deal on a custom 15 series.

Either one would a good choice. My preference would be the 00.
