Thank-You from Hatcher Guitars
This is my 1000th post on AGF and coincidently we're in the Thanksgiving season. I want to say thank-you to my friends, clients, and all those who have complimented and criticized, made suggestions, and have been supportive since I joined the forum in 2011. I also want to thank JR and the team that make this forum possible and maintain its high quality.
I've had almost a quarter million views of my build threads and have established the business I dreamed of due, in a large part, to the exposure I've enjoyed here. I have been able to realize the dream of being a full time luthier and have great prospects moving forward. Following this forum and the many conversations I've had with players as well as other builders has helped me creatively and has been a great influence on my models and designs. Thank-You! Here are some photos of work I have shown over these years: Here are some of what I think are my better build threads: http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=227187 http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=237196 http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=334296 http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=302582 http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=279527 http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=313225 I've got a lot more to show. There are a lot of BRW guitars coming up and new models as well. I'll try to keep it exciting! Thanks Again! Mark

Mark,
I love the picture with the cat.. I hope you didn't make the strings out of the furball.

The Coco guitar with all the bling made my heart almost stop the first time I saw it - might win the all time GORGEOUS award!!
the soundport alone was enough to make my eyes bug out!

Thank-You from Hatcher Guitars
Mark- I feel confident in saying that your work consistently brings much happiness- and yes, some envy, to the AGF readers! ;-)
I know it is on my short list to hopefully have my very own Hatcher some day, and I look forward to the experience of having you put into form a very special instrument! All your success is well deserved, and I hope for it to continue for you. I just hope that when the day comes that I'm able to place an order, that I won't have to wait for 10 years for my build slot! ;-) All my best, Frank |

Best quality photos on AGF by far, not saying anything about the obvious quality of your product. I especially like the open peg head cello tuners.

I'm grateful to this forum for exposing me to your work. I have no idea if your guitars are for me, but the craftsmanship, the photography and now the cat have cemented your position at the top of my to-try list.

I believe Mark's guitars are among the most elegant I've ever seen built.
