I keep it pretty simple. I like the FireEye for the boost with solos...

I have a related question, but prefer to not start a new thread when it relates here.
I want to put a board together. I would really like an isolated power supply but I need 9 and 12v plus the Play acoustic and the best buddy both require much more then 100ma and most power supplies I’ve found only have 1 high output and the rest 100ma. At the moment there’s only 3 powered pedals there but I may add an active Splitter and a bass pedal to output my bass lines to a small isolated bass amp. The other thing I would love advice on is layout tips. The loopi 3 button is to act as a switch 3 for the Play acoustic. The loopi 2 button is to split my air pedal and act as 4 button for the air turn. I will also add 2 button extra switch for the beat buddy. Finally near my hit button on the Play acoustic I’ll add a bass kick type stomp foot box. I’m just about to buy a tweed pedal board case to put it all in. I’ve sort of laid it out the way I was planning. |

Well a work in progress.
This is the way I’m planning to lay it out. I just bought a mini EQ and compressor for the octave pedal. I may use those instead of the B1 pedal. I also may implement an active ABY pedal. My power supply has not arrived yet so I’m working where that will go. In the meantime I’m varnishing my tweed case right now and then I’ll start fastening the pedals down and building some patch cables. |

Few beatbuddys there
I took mine off to start looping percussion on the body of the guitar. Pulled the Beatbuddy out again last week and forgot how great this little pedal is. It’s going back on the board. Especially with Bluetooth to Onsong. |

My latest, and definitely my most satisfying version
It's been through a few versions but feel like I've got it dialed in with all components doing their respective job........ source is a 1994 Taylor 810 with an LR Baggs Anthem installed
Temple Audio Compact Board - not using their mounting system (not a fan) but am using 3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener SJ3560 velcro and then zip ties for cable - very clean and am using the side connections for when I play out on stage. everything is rock solid and road worthy. Decibel Eleven Hot Stone SMD Power supply - very clean isolated power and fits under the board nicely TC Electronics Polytune 2 Blacklight - still a great tuner and I dig the display and the way it tunes. Strange they don't sell these any more. Empress Effects ParaEQ - new add to the board after selling another pre-amp. Incredibly impressed, but not for the faint of heart if your unfamiliar with parametric EQing. Studio quality, super low noise, adds a boost circuit and gives me just exactly what I need - some High frequency noise reduction, a slight mid bump for added detail, and a problem reducing low frequency from the Anthem. Very surgical but amazingly musical. An older Fishman AFX Reverb that's always on. Just giving a slight broadness and depth to my signal. One of the best Acoustic reverbs I've ever heard. LR Baggs Sessions Preamp D.I. - the super special sauce stuff I've come to love. Love, love love the Saturate control adding girth and warm and then that signal leveling and smoothing Comp EQ - perfectly gives a sound man's dream signal. XLR out to the console. Super satisfied as I said and look forward to playing it live through our Meyers FOH system at church - should be killer IMG_3634 by Joseph Poe, on Flickr IMG_3636 by Joseph Poe, on Flickr IMG_3635 by Joseph Poe, on Flickr IMG_3637 by Joseph Poe, on Flickr

Body Rez ~ I believe the Play Acoustic and the Body Rez pedal are the same and the Voicelive 3(x) is different and not able to reproduce the same result. The VL3(x) BRez does not sound as good I think.

Here is my rig for dobro and mandolin. I made the pedalboard myself and recently added the Grace Felix and it has been worth every penny I spent on it.

Been messing with my new parallel 2-channel pedalboard for this season. The Tonedexter is extremely accurate, but just a little thin when the volume gets higher, so the Boss AD-2 adds a compressed and fatter sound in the middle. The combo is juicy and fun as hell.

My acoustic board
Blackbird 12x24 pedalboard Guitar and second mic into Tonebone PZ-PRE Tuner out to PolyTune Main out to Harmony G-XT To Sub N Up To Rang 3 Out to 1/4 jack on the side of the pedalboard from which I run a line to my mixer guitar in. Main Mic into G-XT and out via right angle XLR to jack on the side of the pedalboard from which I run a line to my mixer vocal in . Also have USB Bright Switch running with a CIOKS DC10 (to charge ipad running OnSong, old Iphone 3 running a white digital clock, and a Donner bluetooth page turner. Having the second mic into the PZ-PRE allows me to loop/stack guitar and vocal at the same time in the style of Ed Sheeran. Works for me! Sitting here now coming down after a fun gig tonight. Always pumped up and hard to sleep after a night with a great crowd...
