What fun!

But of all my feelings, I mostly like that you let us ALL come along on your journey of the build...you put a LOT of work into the thread and we (I am sure many of us) followed it daily and enjoyed it so vicariously!

Well thanks a lot Bob. Hey, an excuse to go to Colorado does not seem all that bad to me....Wonder if I would ship it out there or try to fly with it????

Not to talk myself out of my own offer, but I think there's some sort of computer program (app?) that lets you put in a number of locations and find the geographic centroid of all the points.

It might be fun to see, with all the different Kinnaird guitars all over the place, where, in fact, the centroid is and land in that Podunk little town (in all likelihood) somewhere in nowhere's ville...and have a reunion someday there.

Isn't that how Sturgis got stated? Musta been! I've been there and it isn't much good for anything else! [and i ride a Honda!]

I would fly before you ship...but...I have an even better idea.

Get yourself (beg, borrow or steal) a little convertible and drive as circuitous a route as you can to get here, from wherever you're starting.

HMMMMM? A Tom and Louise type situation. Sounds fun, but that did not turn out to well for them if I recall....

Default Place for this reunion...

Here's my vote on where to hold the reunion. Needs to be off-season (meaning not between Memorial Day and Labor Day), but this is a sufficiently large 'lodge/B&B' to hold a good number of reunioners, if we can persuade them to make the trek.

Hey Ryan and Steve--

Do you have pics of any wood sets available of the woods that you have yet to build a guitar out of from your list?

Just curious...

The short answer is yes. Let us know if there's one in particular you want to see, and we'll see if Steve can accommodate.

Maybe Steve can post some interesting ones anyway.

My recommendation is to go and visit them… They have lots of sets and it would be worth the trip to go see them, and pick out exactly what you want!

Some lucky stiff--someday--will get the Nigerian Satinwood set. We had occasion to move that set around today, and were struck afresh by its beauty.
But then we feel that way about so many of these sets. What a great job!
