I'll try to come up with an original video for this one.
Wonderful haunting tune Mau... and my all time favourite video that you've shot... no need to redo it!

Cheers, berf

Thanks, Berfie. Unlike you I haven't yet built up enough courage to wear polyester shorts in my guitar videos -- but I'm working on it.

Keep working at it mon ami... it's a highly specialised skill but with a few more years of concerted practise I feel sure you will get there.

Yours in comfort, berfie

Last weekend I didn't get much of a break as my aunt was visiting from California so we had lots of Chinese food and visited lots of boring places, like Old Quebec.

And then this week I worked like a dog. I was going to call it a night but decided to record a little piece -- a rare fast-paced tune of mine called "Running To You".

Unfortunately the headstock gradually disappears as the tune progresses and I kept slouching...

Hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

Thanks for listening.

Fantastic music, Mau.

We take it for granted, I guess, when we are treated to one of your video but your music is freaking good.

If old Québec is a boring place(hope that was tongue in cheek) try old Trois-rivieres next time

Fun tune to start my day! Thanks Mau! JFC is correct, we should never underestimate your music or take it for granted! Always great stuff!

Mau,

That was really lovely -- very well done, once again. I also enjoyed hearing you flat pick that Leach mandolin playing the Bill Monroe song. Very cool!

Considering that I often drive my parents' Honda Odyssey, I'd have to agree with your comment...

Merci JF.

Most of the material that I publish are obscure, unknown pieces -- so I'm thankful for having such loyal listeners.

As for le Vieux-Québec, on that particular day it was filled with Vietnamese visitors -- and they weren't particularly discrete. Lots of loud laughter, flashy and distasteful clothing, and of course selfie sticks. And to make things even better all the locals spoke to me in English... Sigh... I couldn't wait to get back to Montreal.

I've been posting here for several years already and I really am super thankful for still having listeners interested in my music.

Thank you for the support. You will all get free CDs when they become available...

Thanks, Glenn.

As you know, I've been practicing my cross picking all week (the same three notes for half an hour each day) and I wanted to reassure myself that I could still play fingerstyle...

That would be for me if I ever make it up there.

Beautiful guitar and great new recording.
