Default Martin 000 -C tuners

Any one have any idea if the tuners or at least the plastic tuner buttons will interchange with anything else. The action of the tuners is not too bad - they are not Waverlies or anything - but to me, the plastic tuner buttons are just ugly. I'd like some ebony or even richlite buttons if I could find some to interchange with the stock ones. Any ideas?

Cool Martin 000C Nylon tuning machines?

I thought they were Gotoh 18 to 1 tuners, but I'm not positive.

They are Gotohs. Mine showed a lot of gear wear and I tried to replace them. I bought Sloan ' s from StewMac.
They do not fit. The bearing rollers are too long and will hit each other on a peg head with less than a 2" nut.
StewMac took them back, no sweat.
I was able to find an older, new set without the bearings...shorter rollers and they fit great.
