Smile What a beauty.

This one is very pleasing to me in its simplicity. Let's consider less decorations for my next one.

No idea what the wood is but I am on the edge of my seat...

Cheers

Man, I just can't keep up with you bro. Of course, when you take two steps forward, but three back, it gets more difficult...
As to your binding guess-game, is it what you gave me for Christmas last year?
(See? I didn't give it away...)

Yes it is brother. I bought a small plank of it at Cormark. I don't think you were with me that trip.

Maybe but you know how common names are. Its indigenous to South African and the name I was given is the afrikan name for the tree. I bought the plank at Cormark international which is run by two guys from South Africa. Do you think dragon blood trees are pterocarpus? That is the genus.

Ok you guys got it.
Muninga is one of the common names. I was given the Afrikan name kiaat. Its a protected tree in South Africa. Since both names refer to pterocarpus angoiensis i suppose you will have to split the award. Where would you like me to ship your half bucket of lard, or should i just hold it on the off chance you visit my shop some day.

You can bring my half to Woodstock, an old coffee can should work, you ought to be able to carry that on the plane, I don't think the flies would be too bad.

Smile Well, now we all know!

At last the mystery wood is known... enjoy your lard, gentlemen!

How about a few glamour shots of it after all the hoopla?

And while you have the camera out you might show everyone the elevated FB extension and the Carbon Fiber struts, which I am convinced add to both tone and volume on mine. Yay!

Cheers
