Thanks Steve! While it will get slightly less clean as I cut some relief cuts during the fit process I do treat the rest of the guitar in the same manner

That little detail on the side of the heel cap that aligns with the purfling's side fillet is just brilliant! Kudos!

Thank you David! Kind of a last minute idea that came out really well. The alignment was a learning experience as I glue my necks after the finish process and have to take into account the final thickness of the finish prior to gluing.
