What a Stunning Charis! John I am sure you are really going to love this Guitar. Bill Wise builds only world class instruments and they sound phenomenal. I love the wood combo on your new Charis. congrats!

Definitely need an intervention which my accountant did by showing me how much I've spent on guitars this year.

I believe Bill posted this guitar for sale soon after I joined the board more than a year ago. I think (not sure) it was originally built for a Christian ministry (thus the cross) but the sale didn't pan out and it was sold to another AGF member. When I saw it back then, I thought "I wish." Then it came available, about a year latter for less money, and it's a thirteen fretter on top of it all so I had to give it a go.

Thanks for the well wishes and name suggestions. I kinda like Dark Knight. Cross-eyes is obvious, but I don't think does it justice (more like a joke). I also like Mystique too. Just now put together the "V" word suggestion based on the white center sap line which is too funny because I've been so focused on the eyes and cross, I totally missed the organ. No offense, but despite appropriateness, I don't think I'll go the "V" the "SLS" route. I will await arrival, see hold and play in person and then decide. Open to any other suggestions though.

Thanks again !

John

You know you're gonna get at minimum raised eyebrows from some for suggesting you need a name for her. But I totally agree!

Enjoy!!!

For the right price, I don't have any keepers. How's that for brand loyalty ?

You may have already discovered this, but two nice features he seems to do really well that aren't a part of this guitar are sound ports and a built in/beveled arm rest.

Good luck in your search !
