Default Heads up another online bank scam

I received a email this morning looking for all intents and purposes to be from US Bank.
It said that there were numerous unsuccessful attempts to login to my account.
That my online logins were blocked until I verified my information.
As official as it looked something was not quite right.
Investigation shows this to be a sophisticated phishing attempt to gather my name, account and password.
I was honestly close to blindly clicking through the link... whew!

Universal policy for all of us is to always call your financial institution or credit card company the number is on the back of your card and on your monthly statement when these types of emails arrive. Easy and 100 percent safe.
