Wasted paper and toner
I had just recently found a great website that has free notation, GuitarPro and midi files for download - http://www.classclef.com/
(Another dumb old guy trick follows.) So I downloaded and printed a bunch of songs without really looking at them. This morning I picked out one to learn and realized that the pdf files were created from the GuitarPro files and Guitar Pro decided how many measures per line. LOL, so I got 6 pages of notation with most of the pages having 1 measure per line. I went into GuitarPro, and used the "design mode" to shrink it down to using 4 or 3 bars per line, as appropriate. So I reduced it to only 4 pages of notation. So I'll eventually modify and then reprint all of the music I downloaded over time. So much for using the multiple file printing from Windows Explorer in this case Anyway if you do use the great site and have GuitarPro, download those files and then edit to taste before printing.

The number of times I ever print anything out nowadays for myself is less than 10 times a year now. I always use a computer, tablet, or phone for PDF's which includes tab. I hate having paper around and I also don't like to waste it if possible.
