Anyone have a 5 course Baroque guitar?
I will hopefully start up again, trying to make some 5 and 6 course Baroque style guitars, just wondering if anyone has one here, how do you like it, what kind of strings. Thanks

I wouldn't mind having one but my hands are full (literally and figuratively) with 6-string guitars and an 8-course Renaissance lute.
drunkinminer, here's a pic of one: And here's a vid of Julian Bream performing Alonso Mudarra's Fantasia No.10 on one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukQnRDTgcuI I find that the Renaissance lute can come close to the tone of a Baroque guitar so I'll be experimenting with it for some pieces. Cool! Yea, the one shown above will run you about $4500.00. Mexico has some cheaper builds, ad Latin America in general.
