Possible issue with K&k Trinity Pro?!
Hi guys
I have just got a trinity pro dual source system installed in my guitar - a 000 Atkin guitar very much in vein of a pre war 000 martin. I am connecting it to an AER Compact 60 III amp. (Stereo from the guitar into the two pot blender, and then mono out into the first input of the amp) I have noticed something that I'm not sure if it is an issue or not but is quite annoying. When I am picking up signal from the transducer heads (ie, not the mic). Whenever I move the guitar or move my body, this is picked up and translated as thuds/swooshes/small pops on the amp. This also happens when I naturally tap my foot with rhythm; and a similar noise when I muffle the strings with the palm of my hand. Is this to be expected? Have any of you had this issue? The phenomenon doesn't occur with the microphone at all. Many Thanks |

Try lowering the gain on the transducers at the blender.

Yes
Lowering gain does help, but it is still there. There is the possibility that one or several of the transducer leads is/aren't resting properly. Taking it back to the shop to have a look. To be continued... |

With secondary noises being that prominent, I'd say the transducers are making very good contact.

All is well now
Took it to the shop. For future reference: One of the transducer cables had come lose. Ta da! |
