Default 3/8" Knobs and potentiometers - please help.

So I am replacing my tall split shaft 500k audio taper potentiometers from my EBMM Axis Super Sport Semihollow because the current ones wiggle.

I got these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and wanted to put chrome dome top knobs on them.

The knobs on my EBMM Albert Lee MM90 has solid shaft 3/8" knobs/pots, so I figured it was a normal sizing.

However, I have been completely unable to find a 3/8" knob anywhere!!! Let alone a heavy decent quality one.

I bought a couple of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which look exactly like the ones on my AL-MM90 (except they arent black). However these new ones are 6mm and not 3/8" (9.525mm).

Has anyone ever run into this? Any ideas on how to maybe just shave a little off the knob / pot shaft?

Those use a 1/4" knob. They start about halfway down the page.
