I found this to be pretty interesting take on acoustic amplification from a guy with legendary electric tone:

Sounds good. Pretty much a complete change from the acoustic rig he had when I saw him about five years ago: his signature model Martin into I think a Trace Elliot amp, with signals from a Fishman piezo and a K&K. Though for that show he played acoustic only on a couple tunes.

The classical guitar really does sound quite good plugged in.
