jh11, Sorry, don't know any teachers in Rochester. Check out your local Taylor dealer, many music stores offer lessons. I am taking lessons at my dealer and am pleased, close to home and cost is very reasonable.

How did you make with the storm, I grew up in Rochester and many of my friends and family were without power untill Sunday and Monday.

I didn't do too bad - We lost power about 1 in the morning on Friday and haad it back abour 4 in the afternoon. We lost it a few more times during the weekend but not more than 1 hour at a clip.

There are still people without power and are not expected to get it back until this weekend sometime. Wayne County was hit really hard.

Thanks for the input!

Are there any good Taylor Dealers in Rochester? My last few trips home I don't recall seeing any House of Guitars commercials on TV, but I doubt that they are the type of store that Taylor is looking to market their product.

I remember the owner in one of the commercials jumping around in a bunny costume, hop hop.

Yes the HOG is still there and do carry Taylors - There are also a few others in the area that carry them - Stutzmans, Music Store, Inc., GC and some places in Buffalo.

jh11:

I live east of Rochester, Penfield area, and always favor Stutzmans for anything acoustic. They teach as well. You are welcome to email me directly if you like.
