Wish You Were Here
I really love this song, especially the David Gilmour DVD version. Anybody play this song? I've got the basic rhythm pattern down and am working on the lead over the intro. Great song, and not that hard to play.

Yep, one of my standards. Neat piece, just wish I could sing it better and do the wind noise at the end a little better.

A favourite of mine also and most geetar buffs in my party/jams scene year after year. Running over the same old ground......
Try to be quite loose when doing the solo at the start and enjoy the slides! All the best Scott |

I play it all the time, at least once a week.....on 12 string. Love it.

Yep, love to play it. Even both my 21 and 20 y/o sons are playing it. One of the first songs they wanted to play when they started playing guitar about a year ago.
