Six Bars Jail is a Folk Club in Florence, Italy, devoted to the acoustic guitar and above all to fingerstyle technique.
Founded in 2006 by a diminutive circle of friends, in little more than three years it has blossomed so dramatically thanks to the appearance of other enthusiasts, that it has been able to invite to Tuscany some of the international acoustic guitar world’s greats such as John Renbourn, Beppe Gambetta, Andy McKee, Muriel Anderson, Clive Carroll, Don Ross, Michael Fix, and Peter Finger, to mention but a few, as well as many highly talented emerging guitarists and promising youngsters from the Italian and international panorama.
