Default NGD Pawn Shop Find

Saw this at a local Cash America pawn shop marked down from 339 to 250. Asked if they would take 200 they said no. I waited 2 weeks and walked back in. I asked if they would take 200, the clerk looked at the ticket and said sure 200 plus tax.

I walked out with a G&L Legacy Tribute (2014) Candy Apple Red. Looks great. Plastic is still on the pick guard!

VERY nice score.

Pawnshops are where I get almost all my guitars.

I've found A LOT of amazing deals on guitars over the years.

I usually find at least find 2-3 great deals a year, but I've already found 5 this year already.

If you know what you're looking for and know what the going rate on most guitars are, you can walk away with great deals.

Congrats and enjoy.

I happened to be at the local GC today to pick up a set of strings for my PRS. Lo' and behold, on the wall was a red G&L Legacy Tribute. I've been thinking on adding a single coil strat/strat copy to go with my LP type PRS, so I took it down for a test drive. Very nice guitar and the build quality was very impressive considering the sticker price of $499. I compared it to the $599 MIM strats they had and I would say the G&L was better built and the better buy.

Getting that guitar for $200 was a heck of a deal and I don't think many would have passed it up if they were looking for this type of guitar. Nice score.

I have some other models to check out, but right now the G&L went to the top of the list.
