Have any European members seen Babylon Berlin Season 4? Netflix in the US has not shown it. I'd love to watch it if I could.

Just finished 1971 - The Year Music Changed Everything on Apple TV. Excellent history lesson and great music too.

My wife and I got fed up with Netflix's current list of shows and cancelled our subscription. Now we have Acorn TV. So far we're watching two series, "Brokenwood Mysteries" and "My Life is Murder."

There seems to be many British crime series to choose from so we're going to take our time looking them over. I know the two above are set in New Zealand and Australia but we still love the Brits!

If anyone else has Acorn and can suggest some shows, I'd be grateful.

So far the change has been a good one for us.

Someone above mentioned watching "Shetland" favorably and I couldn't agree more. One of the best series we've seen. So much so that we hope to visit the Shetland islands one day. ("Tosh" was my favorite character.)

Best,
PJ

We’ve enjoyed much that Acorn has to offer. Here are a few, in no particular order:

Whitstable Pearl
Recipes for Love and Murder
Dead Still (a particular favourite)
Restless
George Gently
Detectorists (just brilliant)

Very watchable show - Gary Oldman is great

We enjoyed "Justified" very much, but this latest season was just so-so.

The final episode was last night, though, and the last 10 minutes was excellent! Full of surprises!

Watched "Day Of The Jackal" the other day. I haven't seen it in decades probably. It's pretty good

Little Richard, I Am Everything
A 2023 documentary I recorded (probably on AXSTV). He really was an originator, far more so than most might realize/want to admit. Superbly produced, gritty, honest, outstanding.

A few words of explanation would be useful. I’m not going to click on some random YouTube link without a clue or two.

It's an excellent short documentary on the band Leonid & Friends. I take it you've never encountered them, before? The best Chicago tribute band around.
