Default Twin Peaks by Martin Tallstrom

Helo,

I fell in love with M Tallstrom's arrangements and tone. This is one of the few of his numbers I can play.
This indeed is my 2st recording.
I was in a professional studio this past August, but there was no video footage.
Yesterday I just decided to do it. This time with what I have at home. What you see is synchronisation of video/audio from LG G2 and audio from Marantz PMD 620.
I synced it with iMovie using just a little dose of effects - large room on the LG G2 and small room on the Marantz audio.
This way I sort of replicated the original depth and warmth of my guitar.
There are two major mistakes in this performance. Sorry for that, but in this tuning strings are really, really loose.

Hope you enjoy!

Decided to re-upload the same recording.
This time without effects.
The large/small room effects applied earlier sounded just fine with earphones, but in most cases (larger speakers, laptop speakers), the sound wass too boomy.
It's hard to replicate a guitar's sound, though... Have to work on where to put the marantz and which presents use during recording.
It's going to be an interesting journey...;-)

One of my favorite players and tunes,
I have been studying his arrangements over the years,
has that wonderful baritone guitar
sunaj

That's a pretty good rendition of a difficult piece that is pretty advanced,
with a lot of expression, that requires really good tone
