I thought the $150 general admission tickets were a bit much when he came to Anchorage about ten years ago, and I know the hockey rink concert venue is really bad acoustically. My working rule is if I can go buy the artist's entire catalog on CD's for the price of a concert ticket, I skip the show. Ditto for the Eagles a couple of years ago. Gordon Lightfoot is a long time favorite of mine. We've seen his shows at least a dozen times over the years. But these days his voice is shot (sad to say) and I skipped his shows the last two times he's come through Boise.
