Still really dig'n that Sitka top. Can't wait for finish as even without it, the silking is way out of control

Yes, I am with you on that! I also like the character of the the color, I know most would like the perfect homogeneous color top, but the darker areas of the top are what I like!

Thanks Dennis, I am sure one way or the other this will find its way into your capable hands some day!

Speaking of the box, here are a couple of pictures with a fill coat to see what it is going to do:

This is coming together very nicely, Tom., and I'm looking forward to seeing her completion. I'm really loving the colors that showed up under the fill coat. You may have mentioned before, but I can't recall...what will the finish be on this guitar?

Joel

Default Wow!!!

Man, I'm really loving this guitar!

Once you get it home and discover that it doesn't go well with that walnut guitar humidor of yours, I'll be glad to take it off your hands!

Thank you Nemoman. That small a reveal between the heel and the inside of the cutaway makes for a nervous time while doing the layout and cutting the neck joints, but it is so worth it. I have always disliked it when there is a big hard corner poking out where it should be a smooth transition for your left hand!

Tom, I'd anticipate that this will be an amazing guitar! Anxious to see it come out of the booth!!

Also, I like the things you did on the fingerboard! Good job getting Bro Ben to spice this one up a bit more...Nice touch!!

Thanks, yes he does like his minimalist design, but these are still pretty mild! It is the rosette that I laugh about although he really likes it now.
