Recording tips.
Hey everyone, pretty new to this forum malarky but it'd be great to get some feedback on this bedroom session that I've done recently.
The whole vibe was to make a video that shows the recording process - which was basically what you're seeing is what you hearing. Simple and bareboned with minimal mixing We used a pair of octava MK-012s, a studio projects B1 and ol' trusty 57. Any hints or tips to improve what we've done in the future? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epsRlQ2PqAc Cheers Matt facebook.com/mattacousticatom |

One thing I would do is move that B1 to the other side of the guitar. You're capturing plenty of mid range and high end but very little low. You could thicken up the track a bit.
