Default email troubles and experiments, and a "goodbye" (for now)

You know, I normally to get a lot of enquiries this time of year. Normally. I couldn't work out why this year the numbers seemed down. So after a few weeks, I tested the contact form on my website - it ain't working! Mystery solved.

So, if any of you have messaged me and not had a response, you can get me here.

Now, as some of you know, I'm always experimenting. One of the things I experiment with is marketing. This business ain't all woodwork! So, for the last 12 months, I've been posting here on the AGF. Well, the experiment is almost over.

For those of you who want to keep up to date with what's going on at NK Forster Guitars HQ, the best thing to do is sign up to the newsletter And keep an eye on my blog.

Mrs Forster and I are moving country again in a few weeks so expect a big announcement later in the year. Oh how I love moving the workshop....

Now I can't make a post here without something guitar related, so here are a few recent random pics:

A nice little sapele mandola

The recent Model D-SS, about to get her final set up...

How's this for "shiny"?

Keep in touch!

Moving the shop to another country? Yikes! Better you than me my friend..

Sorry to hear about pulling back from the AGF.. We really do enjoy seeing your work.

On the website... Yes.. A common and unfortunate theme I am seeing is that many makers don't check their own website for functionality, content, etc - they just assume the web hosting service or website developer handles it.. And unfortunately - they often leave an ugly mess and then don't circle back around to sort it out... At the end of the day - you the maker are the one that customers see through the website... It's your business that gets helped or hurt... And the hosting service or developer is some nameless faceless entity which your customers do not care one bit about..
