Default blueridge 40 vs. blueridge 160???

hi! just how does the Br 40 compare to Br 160--it looks similar--how about the sound?? if i were looking for good and bassy, tone, etc. what would you recommend??

Both of them should have plenty of bass. However, the 160 should have a little more in the low end.

All of the Blueridges have excellent tone with good bass response, whether all solid woods like the BR-160 or laminated back & sides like the BR-40. The secret is in the scalloped forward X-braced solid spruce tops. All solid woods is generally preferred but tonally there isn't a big difference IMO. Actually the comparable solid wood guitar to the (Mahogany) BR-40 is the BR-140. The BR-160 is solid rosewood (back & sides).
