Default Let's see your bikes!

Looking for the non-motorized type, but whatever works. Here's the one that's getting the most love from me these days:

2015 Ibis Ripley at Long Ridge Open Space Preserve near Saratoga Gap.

I've been riding on the road for the last 20 years but took up MTB about a year and a half ago. Used to do it in college a bit but boy have bikes changed! Loving it.

Whatcha got?

Sweet ride Larry. Looks almost like a TT rig, it looks so aero. How do you like it?

Lovin' the licence plate Larry.

Can't see the pic Dirk.

I no longer have a bike but here's an experiment of mine from a few years back. The steering pivot is just in front of the seat... It didn't last long.

How did it behave while the pivot lasted?
I've understood that geometry and balance can be really critical in a frame steered 'bent.

I have just given away my old (about 35 years) Reynolds steel framed, drop bar, made to measure Condor to my eldest son, who needed an urgent replacement.

I still have my Kalkhoff X10 speed pedelec which is a terrific piece of kit but a bit heavy and bulky when I want to bring it inside some places I visit (friends in flats, pubs (mainly!)

I am kinda gassing for something very compact and lightweight with a carbon fibre belt drive and an enclosed 11 gear hub. Really clean and hassle free on the maintenance.

Thanks Ozzy, those configurable Google links don't seem to show up consistently on mobile devices. Fixed it.

Saw Larry's plate as well, perfect.

That's the raciest-looking recumbent I've seen and my dad has owned quite a few. Too twitchy in the turns?

Bikes are like guitars where it's hard to get rid of good ones and you need one for different applications.

My wife and I are same height and share. The general rule is she gets first pick.

My 1960's Typhoon used mostly for beer or ice cream runs at the cabin.

Farley 9.6 used mostly for snow, trail work, or slow motion travel on nasty, rocky expert trail. We have a Farley 8 too. Wife usually gets the plastic frame, beer can frame for me.

The beloved Honzo and Portuguese Mountain Bike Dog.

My wife's Remedy 9 and I get to ride it when she's not.

One of our Fat Chances.

Not shown are Transition Covert & Bank (AM, dirt jumper), a custom Chris Chance, and another old Schwinn.

Love seeing all these older/steel bikes. Gotta post my Steelman at some point.

The Giant Propel model is indeed an aero frame...not a full TT thing, but gives a benefit when going over 17mph.

I like it quite a bit. I upgraded to Di2 a little while back, and I like it even better now! I gave those wheels to my wife, and I might up the ante with some new wheels shortly.

I also have a new Specialized Roubaix, with the built in front suspension. It's a hugely smooth and secure ride, but not as fast as the Propel.
