Congrats! That looks like a mini-version of my APLE model.

Goodness grace. I did not notice the date when I'm googling for "rainsong parlor lower saddle height".

Would anyone like to chime in on this? The saddle height of RS, from my observation, does not allow much shaving and therefore resulting me to go to other makes.

Thanks Sean!

Like the minimal break angle at the high E there! But how about relief at the 7th and 12th fret?

Welcome.

I don't have any feeler gauges but I could measure the action if you would like. I can say there is zero buzz or dead notes anywhere on the fret board-that is the beauty of CF in that once you get it where you like it, will not move!

My uncle played my RainSong and was blown away by it's playability, said it was the best playing acoustic he had ever encountered (although I cannot say the same). I started on electric though and I like my acoustic guitars set up with low action, as minimal relief as possible and prefer light gauge strings.

That's funny, I didn't notice that. Looks like even JR missed it. Wonder if Bob still has the guitar.

I do and that P-12 has traveled to the Caribbean, Italy, British Columbia, all over the US and experienced hot and cold extremes. One of the smartest purchases I ever made and I get compliments on it all the time. It's even got the signatures of Tommy Emmanuel, Richard Smith, Frank Vignola, and Brooks Robertson on it.

The action on my new RS OM1100NS was a little high. I reduced the saddle height just a bit (sanding) and it brought the action right where I wanted it. Easy to do. Great result! . Excellent playability and tone.
