Hi all,

Happy holidays

Swung by my local GC. Looking for an acoustic. Found a a a sweet sounding 2000 Taylor 314 in excellent shape though it had worn stings. The tone seemed like it was in there some where and given the price I just had to take it home and put some new strings on it.

Anyway I brought it back with fresh strings to compare it to a couple other Martin's and Taylors I was considering figuring I could also return exchange it Have to say with the new strings this 314 just sings.

Here's a iphone pic

Frusciante - Welcome to the AGF.

Congrats on the 314 - it looks great! Were you planning on buying anything or just walked in, found a great deal on a great guitar, and walked out?

Congrats. I just bought a GA3 which is pretty much the same guitar and I just love it.

I just walked in and saw it. I was planning on getting a guitar but I was initially interested in 000 bodied Martin

I am not a Taylor fan, however if you read some of my very very old posts, my favorite Taylor is the 314...
Congrats.
