My favorite is a Santa Cruz all mahogany OM with a short scale. Really nice guitar with great balance, volume, warmth and clarity - but with still that all mahogany mid-range thing going on in just the right measure.

Santa Cruz 1929 00. I've owned two now and both were outstanding. For my style of playing (delicate, fingerstyle with the meat of my fingertips) all-hog is the perfect wood combo. I also love SC V necks. They are my favorite V neck maker.
Might do a custom someday based on the 1929 00 with some added features. Would also love to play fishstick kitty's Don Edwards. I'll be making a trip to Portland on my motorcycle some sunny summer day! |

On any given day, this Collings OM2 can be my favorite guitar -- period. It is woody and warm while having healthy crisp projection with plenty of bass and balance. It is a very special guitar.

Martin D15S
I like the soft mellow tone and the plain and simple design. There aren't too many slot-headed 12-fret dreadnoughts around. The story is that Martin wanted to create the look of a guitar that might have been built during the austere times of the great depression in the 1930's. |

Definitely the Seagull SWS Maritime HG Mahogany... Although I haven't tried may all hog guitars, it's my favorite, but that might because I own one. I like the tonal mellowness of the mahogany, but the strength of a dreadnought. Plus its all solid. Too bad Seagull doesn't make them anymore

I only own an alvarez pf2005. All solid mahogany. my first all solid guitar. Got it for a great price. Definitely has that boxy woody sound. I've owned it for 12 years now. It's the longest I've owned an acoustic.
I like the Martin OM15 for all solid hog...although I've not played many all hog guitars. |

I love my Taylor 12 fret all mahogany guitar. Very warm sounding guitar considering that is Taylor.
