Thanks to both of you. No, haven't made it to FPR yet but hopefully will one of these days. I have Jorma's DVD lessons and have found this site to be a great Tuna resource. I also have lots of lessons from Stephan Grossman and his stable of instructors.

You guys should do a Double Dose (Jorma and Jack) weekend. Usually Hot Tuna Acoustic performs that weekend as well. I've only met and chatted with Jorma over the years and he's a nice guy for a RRHOFer. I'm planning on taking one of his classes next year, hopefully for the RGD weekend.

Double Dose weekend at FPR would be perfect for you guys -- that's where they pair up guitarists and bassists and have you work on playing together. Of course, you guys are already there. But Jorma and Jack find ways to elevate your playing even if you're already expert players. And anyway, it's a lot of fun.

I've had a couple of workshops with Jorma. Emblematic of how good a teacher he is: he introduced a song he wanted to teach by playing it (Brother Can You Spare a Dime). We all protested, no way will we ever learn that, it's too complicated. An hour later, we were playing it. Three days later, I did it at an open mic. He knows how to break them down.

Very nice job on those, John! I enjoyed hearing you both play!

Cool! Totally live!
