Better scripts and mo’ money seem to effectively convince actors to do one more.

Did you read somewhere that they were only going to do 6 eps? I thought they were doing 2 mytharcs and 8 stand alones for a total of 10.

Wikipedia states 10 episodes, like you mentioned. I rechecked the article I read and I could no longer find the reference to 6 episodes. I may have gotten that wrong and it was stating last season.

Don't get me started on there, their and they're (or to, two and too or for, four and fore (!) for that matter)...mistakes with these, and many other, three word homonyms just piques my interest.

Yes I had a big crush on her back then. Even when she did those episodes with the baby bump she still looked hot to me. [emoji4]

One of my all time favorite shows. Waiting for the next episodes.

Count me in. Critics reviews are disappointing especially the two Chris Carter penned mytharc episodes. Oh well, I’m still looking forward to it.

Those darn critics. Don't invite them to JPD's party!

Looking forward to it. Hope they don't bring back 'Dogget' for a guest appearance!

LOL, I don't think he was bad in those final 2 seasons but no one can replace Mulder.

I kinda started to like John Doggett toward the end but Mulder and Scully are The X Files.

I just watched Episode 1 - it was great! So much going on though. I had a "Luke, I am your father" moment at the end.

Your thoughts?

Did we find out the Smoking Man was Mulder's father at the end of the last season? If so, I didn't remember it. Also - the final revelation about William - WOW! I wonder what Scully is going to do when she finds out?

Liked all the little 'history of Smoking Man' clips they used, including the moon landing (oh, the theorists are going to love that one!)
