Default Let It Be

Yo bretheren of the wood and wire, noledog here with my humble rendition of Let It Be by Paul McCartney.

This classic was an early inspiration to my folk style influence and learning to play guitar. My brother Jim was first to bring a guitar into our home growing up and himself is an inspiring musician. For that I will always be grateful and dedicate this to him.

I tried to emulate the piano parts on this acoustic rendition while giving it my own flavor. It is such a meditative beautiful song to sing and play...its been therapeutic at times!

Thanks again to my friend Joe Hempel for rendering the video in HD. Check out my man at: http://www.youtube.com/user/jhempel24...

I recorded this with my lady Gina (Goodall BTO CJ) simply on my Vaio laptop in my livingroom. Thank you for joining me for a listen.

My Buddy Noledog, what an outstanding piece! Of the videos you've posted before, this may very well be my favorite. The guitar sounds amazing, your vocals are great, and everything just comes together in this piece.

I'm thinking about the performance reviews I do at work so I need to include a critique here. You always seem to be wearing a shirt that emphasizes Florida and the warm climate. Once and a while, you should put on something that looks like the Far North

Again, amazing job Eric!

Eric, what an inspiring rendition of this song. Wonderful performance. Is Gina a Cedar/rosewood model? She records so well and really compliments your vocal . I was thinking about you on the weekend as I was watching a documentary called Muscle Shoals and the Skynard recordings were being documented. I can't believe the number of greats who recorded in this small town.

Dru,

Dude thank you so much for such kind props, you made my day!

As far as the shirt goes, I wore that shirt because Jon from My Favorite Guitars was so kind to send it to me. The southern coast is my life and I've never been to the far north but hope to someday. However, I virtually now wear this in honor of you my broham from the north land:

But I also found this Florida Panthers T too!

Dru your awesome and I appreciate your encouraging comments not only to me but what you say to so many others here; your a wonderful contribution to this forum...thanks for listening to this ol' southern dog.

edit: dru I originally had a montreal jersey but ryan hooked me up with the right 411 on yer bruins... ...see post 16, thanks ryan!
