Messaged you back. There's some good suggestions in this thread. Sounds like a fun day of shopping ahead of you.

Those Tweed and snakeskin sure look cool. But I guess they're very limited.

Any opinions on the new Roland JC-22 Jazz Chorus? They sounded nice in the adverts.. I used to have a Roland Cube amp and they where nice amps. But this new one must be a shot for that ol Cali sound..

Here's a sort of non-traditional option. These little amps are real sleepers...which is why they're still so cheap on the used market. They're also rugged as they come...still gigging with the one I bought new back in '91.

https://reverb.com/item/2744139-tube...pYNxoCcBvw_wcB

The TD-752 was perhaps the very first serious hybrid amp...has a tube preamp identical to the TubeDriver pedal, which then goes into a mosfet power amp that is every bit of 100 watts...seriously, if you need it, these can be LOUD! They have an Accutronics spring reverb, line out and FX loop. The amp only weighs about 25 lbs.

The cool thing that BK Butler did was to design the FETs so that they imitate the way power tubes react to signal...called it "Mosvalve". The tube preamp has a 12ax7 tube in it that is really designed more for blazing distortion, but you can easily tame this by replacing the 12ax7 with a 12au7 or similar preamp tube that has a more hifi tone to it.

I have 2 of these, with which I have done hundreds of gigs. I keep one at our rehearsal space and the other at my home studio. I use a Line 6 POD and a Boss CS3 compressor at the input, but really, you could just play straight in, as these are known for their fantastic clean tone just using the power amp.

What about a Peavey Bandit 112? For the money, they are great amps!

I owned the predecessor Bandit 65 back in the '80s/90s - best acoustic-electric amp I've ever played (actually made my first-generation single-knob Ovation sound like a loud acoustic guitar) and enough power to handle any gig, acoustic or electric - but these days comparable money can get you lots more value in a solid-state analog amp:

Small wonder they've got trouble keeping them in stock...

Have been playing through a 100 Watt Fender Champion since last X-Mas {Gift from my Lady Love}. I had a Peavey Bandit 65 that I traded in and did the deal for $200 flat. The Champion has twin speakers and a LOT of presets that are really cool for todays modern music. However...it has that Fat Fender Twin Reverb sound I was after and about 50 lbs lighter. This Amp is a Winner!!!!.
