Default O'Carolan's Welcome - Tom Doerr guitar

I finally had a chance to record something with the wonderful Tom Doerr guitar that followed me home from the Santa Barbara Acoustic Instrument Celebration this past fall.

Beautifully done, Doug. I always enjoy your playing and listen often, it is a bonus when you put something like this up for us on the AGF!

A touch of reverb (Bricasti or TC VSS3, I forget), and I would have used Ozone across the mix bus for a bit of compression and maybe a little EQ. I usually keep things pretty simple. The chain for any of my videos in recent years is to record audio to a Zoom, in this case, with the AT4050st mic, and then sync audio and video tracks in Final Cut, where I can select the Zoom audio and play around with the camera cuts, then export the final movie to Logic for a "mastering" pass, add a little reverb, and then export the final to You Tube. I shot another video that same week, a Christmas medley with the little Yamamoto 12-string, which would used the same process.
