Default What's the picking pattern in this vid?

I should be able to get this straight off, but my ears don't seem to be working. It's quite simple and yet eludes me. She starts on G and uses the same picking pattern throughout the simple chord changes - anyone?

it's really sparse and she might be picking some more notes than this but I can't hear them in the first few bars.

It might be difficult to pick up because the lick starts on the count of 4 + and nothing happens on beat 3. A more usual alternate picking style might go,

Like stanron says. The thumb notes are the main driver of the rhythm. Some other notes are thrown in on the next chord and hear and there - I doubt she is even
much aware of that and it ain't that important

I agree, no real pattern really, just her own style of picking which, as noted, is sparse, and irregular.

It's as stanron says, and is actually pretty consistent throughout (as 2nd bar of his first tab). Its unusual that she's omitting beat 3 in the bass, and I'm sure that's deliberate - she could easily play a standard 4-beat bass if she wanted, but she's chosen not to, presumably because she wanted something more distinctive.
Whether you think that's significant (if you cover the song yourself) is up to you. The song would obviously work well enough with various kinds of picking patterns.

I LOVE YOU GUYS!! Seriously!! This explains why I've been doing my own little hybrid picking, and why I try not to get too hung up on doing it exactly like the artist.
