A BLEM is a new instrument which has some sort of manufacturing blemish, in this case purely cosmetic, however the instrument has been factory set up, inspected, and warrantied for 5 years by Gold Tone.

Designed by legendary maker Paul Beard, this signature model guitar is hand made and provides unmatched tone in its price range. The Beard "open" soundwell body design utilizes genuine USA Beard cones & spiders. All Gold Tone Beard Signature Series feature USA assembly and setup by experienced luthiers using Beard cones & spiders. You can be assured of a perfect setup for maximum tone & playability.

This is the round neck version with mahogany sides and back, a high gloss vintage or antique mahogany finish, rosewood fingerboard, white binding on the top and back and both sides of the neck, bone nut, dobro style tailpiece, sealed adjustable tuners with metal buttons, this is not only a top of the line Beard authorized design, top of the line materials have been used to make this as well.

BLEM DESCRIPTION:

In pics 9-11 (attached link), you can see the side of the neck heel and the finish did not settle correctly and there is a small spot that looks something like an ink drop. This has absolutely no structural issues and not only is this a cosmetic blem, it is an extremely minor one.

This has a list price of $1,099 and normally sells as a non blemished A stock for $800. However you can buy this as a BLEM with a 5 year factory warranty for $549.99!!
