Default Going for mellow tone

I want to soften the tone of my new C12 a bit. I ordered a set of Hannabach super low trebles and Luthier Concert Dark Silver 35 MHT bass set.

I'll report back.

Ultra fine polishing pads
Nails not too long
Rest strokes
Plucking distance from bridge
Good room acoustics
etc.
