Last I heard, and I'll admit that I'm likely behind on the subject, Wayne was very inexpensive. The downside of getting one of his guitars cheap was that you only got one if and when he wanted to build it.

some of these guitars base price is less than 5k like Langejans, Charis, and Lowden to name a few. I believe OP wanted expensive guitars with base prices starting at 5k.

Oh, I forgot to mention Fritz Rössel. His "Wooden Dreams Premium Passion" has a base price of 18.900.- Euro or 29.500.- US Dollar.

A friend of mine just had a 12-string Brazilian custom made by Langejans. I'm sure he would have been even happier if it was less 5k.
