It doesn't list the year or have any back shots but the label looks like a limited label... may be worth a call and I've had pretty good luck talking down the price on Guitar Center used guitars and they ship them to your local store for $25...

i have one. i rarely play it mainly because my 615 is my #1 acoustic.

if you don't find another one, let me know. i might be convinced to sell it.

Thanks got the leads! Yes the eBay one is overpriced. I spoke with them today. It's been up there since Dec and they aren't interested in lowering the price.

I know you mentioned the 2009 rosewood, but the link below has a 2009 spring ltd 416ce Tasmanian Blackwood. I used to have a 414ce version of this guitar and regret selling it every day.

Dude, this one is all you. The Maple binding makes it so much sweeter than the ivoroid on the FLTD and the Blackwood is an amazing sounding tonewood.

All these prices seem a bit high. A little patience on Ebay or this forum should get you a better deal, probably under $1500.

Just saw this on the Dave's Guitar Shop website. It's a 414 though, not a 416. I've bought from them before and they were great to deal with.

I think that you are looking for a FALL 2009 416ce ltd. Spring was blackwood (satin finish on the back and sides) Fall was the rosewood, all gloss. I think that's the way it went. This is subject to bad memory.... The only reason I know that one was blackwood and one was rosewood is that I bought the blackwood and immediately sent it back for the rosewood. I needed the gloss because a ton of sleeve noise came through the electronics with the satin one.
