Default SOLD: Brook Bovey custom travel guitar

This is the coolest little guitar... I took it in trade recently (with the intent to sell, that was the plan, so I really should) and I was smitten the first time I strummed it. It's sooo small, and of course it has a whole different sound from a typical guitar, but it's got its own thing going, and it's gooood! And so comfortable and portable. Interesting thing is, these are braced for medium strings, which adds a lot to the tone. It's a great fingerstyle guitar, and you can even strum it. It also has a very thick ebony fretboard and a substantial neck. Feels very solid and resonant.

It's cedar over walnut, and exquisitely crafted. It's very clean, no cracks, neck is straight, it's in great shape. Has one ding on the lower bout, and another slightly smaller one next to that. You can only see it in just the right light. (I tried to show it in the photo, the one that has the big light reflection.)

These go for $2250 new, *** SOLD*** asking $1350 shipped in CONUS. Also including a high quality custom gig bag ($200 add-on)

Can we get some details, like nut width, spacing at the saddle, etc?

Sorry, yes... nut is 1 3/4" and scale length is 21.5". I'll try to measure string spacing tomorrow...

Here are dimensions from Brook's site (in mm, as they're an English company)

Upper bout waist lower bout depth at tail block
193mm 152mm 264mm 70mm

Nice little guitar. Does this tune to standard pitch or up a 3rd.

Default Brook

I am interested. Wondered if you are at all
negotiable on the price. I could do $1250 but
that's all my budget will allow. Appreciate
your consideration.
