Default NGD!

NGD! I went to into my preferred LGS to give my hand at some guitars with the possibility of buying one if it sang to me and the price was right. I went in looking for a solid body, and it's with what I walked out. I tried out a Taylor AD22ce (used), a new Martin 000-10m, a Yamaha FSX3 (on sale per Yamaha at $989), and a new Yamaha LS16M. I walked out with the LS16. It sang to me and for $699 I couldn't beat the price.

Nice looking guitar. I know it sounds good because you bought it. Make some music.

Really nice. Those Yamaha L models are way underrated.

Have a great time with it!

Congrats. Yamaha makes really fine sounding and beautiful -like yours- guitars. Enjoy!

Yamaha L series guitars are one of the most under rated guitars out there. IMO. Enjoy yours. I know it sounds great cause I have played a few of them. Including the LL36r.

Congrats on a real nice LS Yamaha! I keep reading great things about those L Series Yamahas.

So, I pulled it out, today, and played some more stuff than my standard guitar shop test riffs and progressions. I almost started crying at the beauty of the overtones, balance, fullness, and butteriness of the sound.

I had my first pucker moment with it, today. I’ve installed many an end-pin in many a heel. However, I was puckering the whole time with this one. It went fine, though.

Yes, when you have one as pretty as that, it’s easy to get nervous. I’ve done a bunch of them and can’t remember having a problem. I purchased a very special guitar recently and had the repairman do the work this time.

Lovely guitar! The shape and sound of those is alluring.
