Default High temperature in acoustic room at guitar shop

I went to a guitar shop in Flagstaff, AZ last night, and the acoustic room was really not. I checked the thermometer/hygrometer on the wall, and it was 86 degrees fahrenheit.

Is this unusually high, or is it just me.

Also, I had walked about 3 miles to get there. Needless to say, there are a few guitars in there with some seriously sweaty lower bouts. They had a sign about no belt buckles or picks, but they didn't mention anti-perspirant.

86 degrees will not harm a guitar. May not be comfortable to you and may leave sweat marks on the guitars, but that is about it. ....Mike
