Default Shane Briggs MO-P Italian/Rio - Small Introduction

Hey good folk's,

Just a humble introduction about me and what I get up to in my workshop!

I'm situated in Melbourne, Australia - Before the bug bit I was studying fine arts portraiture/Music performance at school, by luck or chance one of my teachers made instruments in his spare time. After harassing him on the how, where and whats this leading to some timber landing at the front door and the rest is history as they say!

In the earlier years I had such warm help from Jack Spira, Tim Kill and Barry Kerr - I sincerely thank these great makers!

I look forward to contributing where I can around here, as this platform has been a great resource.

I'm currently making this MO-P guitar for a wonderful local player, Ill be sharing a few progress pictures with all.

Thanks for looking!

Shane

Shane, seen a few videos of your guitars on YouTube and they sound and look great! Looking forward to seeing this come together; like the contoured cutaway...

Looking good Shane, love the approach to the end graft. Back and sides Rio...as in Rio in Brazil?
