Why yes we did Marcus, and here it is!

It's ebony to go with the fretboard and also not take away from the top.

Hoping to see it attached soon. Looking forward to seeing it all together with the tuners.

Moving along now!

The saddle will be bone, Joel explained that he uses a dummy ebony while working his magic.

A little fret work;

We are getting closer, some last minute fine tuning and it'll be on its way. Joel estimates that Tuesday it will ship, Monday is a holiday in Canada so no mail. I'm guessing I'll get it Friday, maybe Thursday. It's coming express, but not sure how long it will take to cross the boarder. Joel sent these teasers today; especially for Marcus, I know how much he likes these tuners! You and Joel talked them up way too much, now it can't meet my expectations!

And it is on the way! Joel shipped it yesterday. Positive vibes for a quick and more importantly safe journey. I'm guessing I'll have it Friday, it has to cross customs.

Awesome! You must be so excited. I'm looking forward to seeing and playing some more of Joel's work in September.

Brendan that looks phenomenal! The anticipation must be high!

Also noticed you live in the Hudson valley... wish that was going further down the line, where I am!

Such a fantastic looking guitar! From experience I know it will be a wonderful instrument with most anything you could want out of a guitar!

It's finally here! Like a kid on Christmas! The attention to detail is amazing. So many little things that I didn't notice before but are beautiful. I posted a bunch of pics in a NGD thread.

The biggest surprise was finding a little baggy in the case with my wife's name. I gave it to her and it was a necklace that Joel made from spare pieces of the guitar and copper. It was really nice. She loves it.
