Default Calliope Rag by James Scott/Robert Darch

My arrangement of a rag sketched out by James Scott around 1906 with the calliope (steam organ) in mind, completed by Robert Darch, and usually played on piano.

Played on a 'Taran' guitar by Rory Dowling.

Hope you like it!

Hi Rod,

That's outstanding! Very well done on a piece that is obviously not easy to play! Excellent!

Thanks a lot Doug - Ragtime Oriole is on my to do list especially after hearing you play it a few months ago. Great composer.

Thanks a lot for the comment Glenn. I did the arrangement and worked through it a few years ago, has sort of matured with time and a new guitar was an incentive to record it again.
