Return the guitar and ask them to be sure to fully hydrate the replacement.
Looks like this guitar is very dry and in need of humidity.

If and when you get the replacement, be sure to keep it humidified or these symptoms may return.

OCD is expensive. Either get the frets tapped down, and accept the guitar for what it is, or recognize that you won't be satisfied until you invest considerably more for a guitar that meets your needs.
