A "doodle" for a Sunday morning, have a listen.
What's a doodle? It's something between simple chord changes and a song with a real melody. It's kinda like the Twilight Zone of song writing. It's usually originates from a few chord changes and you just love the way your guitar sounds so you just kinda stretch it out a bit. I haven't posted one in a quite a while, so I guess I'm overdue . Its a good sign for me though, I've had a bout of writers block and this is the light at the end of the tunnel starting to shine through.
This one is played on my GS8 in DADGAD for no particular reason. I'm still plagued by hand noise on the neck, inspite of throwing some talcum power on my fretting hand. Anyway here it is, don't expect a professional sounding recording, Sunday Doodle

I found one yesterday (a progression that is) that has been hangin in my head.
I liked the concept of the location for your recordings.....wanna take me through the practical aspects of it? (Website membership, creating music files for uploading, etc..) -Soupy1957 |
